Product · Slack, email and WhatsApp

Reach your agents where you already are.

Work arrives in Slack, in your inbox and on your phone. Ask an agent right there: it answers where you asked, from the same Wiki and memory it uses in Afarin.

The problem

Copying a Slack thread or an email into another tool is where the context gets lost.

What it does

  • Slack: mention the Afarin app in a channel or DM, and the agent answers in the thread.
  • Email: each agent can have its own address, and replies by email.
  • WhatsApp: message an agent's own number; voice notes are transcribed.
  • Every conversation is kept in Afarin with the rest of the work.

Said plainly

  • LimitOnly people in your workspace get answers: your Slack email must match your Afarin sign-in, email must come from a verified member, and WhatsApp numbers are verified with a code.
  • LimitIn a Slack channel, an agent answers from what the channel may see, never from your private conversations.
  • LimitFiles sent in Slack and email attachments are not read yet.
  • LimitWhatsApp is one to one, with no groups, and replies follow WhatsApp's 24-hour window.
  • LimitA workspace admin sets each one up: connects Slack, gives an agent its address, or adds its WhatsApp number.

Works with

  • Chat

Each conversation lands in Chat, next to the work it is about.

  • Apps

In connected apps, agents also answer when they are mentioned.

Questions

Can my clients email an agent?
Not yet. Only verified members of your workspace get answers, and mail from anyone else is dropped.
Which agent answers in Slack?
The one you name at the start of the message. Otherwise the agent already answering that thread or DM, then the workspace's default agent.
